Boss Fight Guide – How to Defeat All Bosses in Super Bear Adventure

Boss fights are the most exciting moments in the game. The music changes, the camera moves in, and a giant enemy appears. But don’t worry! Every boss has a pattern, and every pattern can be learned. In this guide, you will learn how to beat all the main Super Bear Adventure bosses, one by one. We also share the golden rules that work for every fight, plus tips for getting faster times and medals.

Each of these Super Bear Adventure bosses got its own music in Update 10.0, composed by Pierre Thibault. Listen closely, because the music makes each fight feel special.

Golden Rules for Every Boss Fight

Before we look at each boss, learn these rules. They work against almost every enemy in the game.

  1. Watch first, attack second. Spend the first few seconds just dodging. See what the boss does.
  2. Look for the “rest” moment. Most bosses stop or get stunned after an attack. That is your chance.
  3. Collect hearts before the fight. Hearts refill your health. Enter the arena with full health.
  4. Keep moving. Standing still is the fastest way to get hit.
  5. Use the right move. The belly stomp (hold B in the air) and dive (press B in the air) are powerful tools.
  6. Turn on double health if you need it. This booster gives extra hearts and can be switched on in the menu.
  7. Don’t panic after a hit. You usually have a little time to recover. Take a breath and keep dodging.

Boss 1: The Turtle Golem (Turtletown)

The Turtle Golem is the first of the Super Bear Adventure bosses. It is a huge stone turtle that wakes up and starts bouncing around the arena.

What it does:

  • It bounces across the arena, trying to crush you.
  • Rocks fall from above during the fight.
  • The arena has pillars with spikes on them.

How to beat it:

  1. Stay calm while it wakes up. Its wake-up animation was made shorter in Update 12.1.2.
  2. Dodge its bounces by moving sideways, not backwards.
  3. Lead it toward the spiked pillars. Since Update 11.0, when the Golem hits a pillar, it needs one less bounce before it gets stunned.
  4. When it is stunned, run in and attack!
  5. Watch for falling rocks. Look at their shadows on the ground.

Tip: Update 11.0 also lets you hit the Golem while it is getting up from the stun. So keep attacking until it is fully back on its feet.

Boss 2: The Yeti (Snow Valley)

The Yeti is a big, furry beast that lives in the snowy mountains. It throws snowballs and moves fast.

What it does:

  • It throws snowballs at you.
  • It moves around the arena quickly.

How to beat it:

  1. Never stand still. Keep running in circles around the arena.
  2. Jump sideways when a snowball comes at you.
  3. Learn the moment it stops after throwing.
  4. Rush in and attack during that pause.
  5. Back off quickly before the next attack.

Good news for new players: the Yeti fight was reworked in Update 12.0 to make it shorter. During the multiplayer beta, it also became faster and more challenging, so it stays exciting.

Boss 3: The Guardian (Beemothep Desert)

The Guardian lives deep under the desert pyramid. This boss is special because it is part puzzle and part fight. You can’t just punch it. You have to use the room.

What it does:

  • It chases you around the room.

  • Fennecs (small desert foxes) join the fight to distract you.

How to beat it:

  1. Find the buttons in the arena.
  2. Press them to power the block traps.
  3. Lead the Guardian near the blocks.
  4. When the blocks hit it, it takes damage.
  5. Deal with fennecs quickly so they don’t block your path.

Helpful facts from the change logs:

  • Since Update 11.0, the Guardian moves faster.

  • But it is also pulled slightly toward the blocks, which makes it easier to hit.
  • The game shows more visual signs when buttons power the traps.

Boss 4: The Rat (Giant House)

In the Giant House, you are tiny, so even a rat is a giant monster! The Rat is quick and aggressive.

What it does:

  • It charges and bites very fast.
  • It moves around the room to trap you.

How to beat it:

  1. Keep your distance at the start.
  2. Watch for its attack pattern. Most fast bosses attack a few times, then pause.
  3. Strike during the pause.
  4. Aim for the head. Update 13.0.3 fixed the Rat’s head hitbox, so your hits register better now.
  5. Use furniture and space to avoid getting cornered.

Like the Yeti, the Rat fight was made shorter in Update 12.0.

Boss 5: The Giant Caterpillar (The Hive)

On your way through The Hive, you meet the Giant Caterpillar. It is a mini-boss that tests everything you have learned so far.

How to beat it:

  1. Learn how it moves before you get close.
  2. Attack when it is open, then step away.
  3. Use your checkpoints wisely. Since Update 10.3, the caterpillar no longer revives when you respawn at a checkpoint. So once you beat it, it stays beaten!

Boss 6: The Purple Bear (Final Boss)

The final battle is the biggest of all Super Bear Adventure bosses. At the end of The Hive, Baaren faces a purple bear. Fans know him as Baaren’s brother. This fight has several parts, and Shicka plays a big role.

What happens:

  • The boss shoots projectiles at you.

  • The fight has different phases.
  • At one point, a Giant Shicka joins the battle.

How to beat it:

  1. Enter with full health. Grab every heart you can find before the final room.

  2. Watch the projectiles carefully. Since Update 13.0, their timing is no longer random. This means you can learn the exact rhythm and dodge every time.
  3. Attack only when you are safe.
  4. When playing as Giant Shicka, move carefully and keep track of the bees.
  5. If you lose, don’t give up. Each try teaches you more of the pattern.

After you win, you can talk to the Bee Queen and watch the ending. Fun fact: since Update 13.0.3, you can stomp during the credits to make them scroll faster!

Bonus Challenge: Bosses in Hardcore Mode

Update 13.0 added Hardcore Mode to Turtletown, Snow Valley, Beemothep Desert, and Giant House. These harder versions of the levels have new enemies and obstacles. If you have beaten every boss in normal mode, Hardcore Mode is the next big test.

Tips for Faster Times and Medals

Each bear has bronze, silver, gold, and diamond medals for fast times. Boss fights can take a big part of your time. To speed up:

  • Learn the safe attack windows so you never waste a turn.
  • Use speedrun mode to practice. It shows the version number and has an input counter.
  • Skip cutscenes where allowed. Some cutscenes are skippable in speedrun mode.
  • Don’t take risks you don’t need. Getting hit slows you down more than a careful attack.

Fighting Bosses With Friends in Multiplayer

Since Update 12.0, you can face many Super Bear Adventure bosses with up to three friends. Teamwork makes some fights easier, but it also brings new things to think about.

  • Split the jobs. In the Guardian fight, one player can press the buttons while another leads the boss toward the blocks.
  • Spread out. If everyone stands in one spot, one attack can hit the whole team. Moving apart makes the boss choose one target.
  • Check the party rules. The host can turn on damage between players. For boss fights, it is usually best to turn it off so nobody hits a friend by mistake.
  • Watch the cutscenes together. Update 12.1.2 fixed a bug where level unlock cutscenes only played for the host.
  • Stay patient. If a friend is new, let them learn the pattern before rushing in.

A Simple 5-Step Practice Plan

Stuck on one boss? Try this plan. It works for every fight in the game.

  1. Try 1: Just survive. Don’t attack at all. Only dodge and watch.

  2. Try 2: Count the attacks. Say them out loud, like “bounce, bounce, rest.” This helps you remember the pattern.
  3. Try 3: Attack once. Hit the boss only in the safest moment, then run.
  4. Try 4: Attack every safe moment. Now use every opening found.
  5. Try 5: Go for speed. Once you can win, try to win faster for better medals.

Most players beat a boss by try three or four with this plan. If you still lose, take a short break. A fresh mind often spots the pattern right away.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Mistake Why It’s Bad What to Do Instead
Attacking right away You get hit before learning the pattern Watch the first attacks
Standing still Easy target for projectiles Keep moving in circles
Ignoring hearts You start the fight weak Collect hearts first
Chasing the boss You run into attacks Let the boss come to you
Ignoring helpers Fennecs or bees distract you Clear small enemies quickly

Final Thoughts

The Super Bear Adventure bosses may look scary at first, but each one is fair. The Turtle Golem teaches you to dodge. The Yeti teaches you timing. The Guardian teaches you to use the room. The Rat teaches you to read fast moves. The final battle tests everything. Watch, wait, and strike at the right time, and you will beat them all. Good luck, brave bear!
