Super Bear Adventure Story – The Tale of Baaren and the Purple Honey

A Peaceful Kingdom
Long ago, the kingdom was a calm and happy place. Bears, turtles, penguins, and many other animals lived together. Everyone got along.
Then something bad happened. The bees started making purple honey. This was not normal honey. Anyone who ate it turned into a mindless enemy. Friends became foes!
Baaren Wakes Up
When the trouble started, Baaren was asleep. He was taking a nap away from the village. His friend Shicka found him and joked that he slept through the whole raid.
When Baaren went home, he saw that his bear friends were gone. Many of them were locked in cages all over the kingdom. So Baaren set off on a big quest. His goal was simple: save his friends and stop the purple honey.
Bear Village: Home Base
Bear Village is the center of the Super Bear Adventure story. It is your home base. From here, you can visit every world. Each time you save a bear, they come back to live in Bear Village. The village gets busier and happier as you play!
The Journey Through the Kingdom
Baaren travels through five main worlds. Each world opens after you save enough bears.
- Turtletown – A green land with turtles, water, and caves. Here you learn the basic moves and face the Turtle Golem.
- Snow Valley – A cold, icy land with penguins and the big Yeti.
- Beemothep Desert – A hot desert with a giant pyramid, a tall tower, and The Guardian boss.
- Giant House – A huge house where Baaren is tiny. The kitchen and bathroom are like giant playgrounds.
- The Hive – The home of the bees and the place where the purple honey is made.
In each world, Baaren meets new animals. Some need help. Some give clues. Bit by bit, Baaren gets closer to the source of the trouble.
The Hive: Where It All Leads
The Hive is the last world in the Super Bear Adventure story. It is a big level split into parts. There is a purple river, a honey factory, a backyard, and a throne room. You meet Maybee, a bee who runs a gift shop, and finally reach Queen Beeatrice.
The Big Twist (Spoiler!)
At the end, Baaren learns who is behind it all. The final boss is a purple bear: Baaren’s own brother. Fans say his brother wanted to rule the kingdom, but Baaren said no. This made his brother turn against him.
Baaren and Shicka fight the final battle together. When they win, the kingdom is safe again. Then you can talk to the Bee Queen and see the ending.
What Happens After the Story?
The fun does not stop at the ending! After you finish The Hive, new bonus levels called mole challenges open up. These include the Mole Mines, the Astral Temple, and the Astral Dunes. In Update 13.0, a new water level called the Crystalline Lagoon was added for Turtletown.
How the Story Changed Over Time?
The story we know today was not always the same. In Update 10.0 (November 2022), the game maker rewrote the story. He added new dialogue and new cutscenes. He also added an animated story introduction with drawings made by Édouard Didelot.
Lessons From the Story
The Super Bear Adventure story teaches some nice lessons:
- Never give up. Baaren keeps going, world after world.
- Friends matter. Baaren does not stop until every friend is safe.
- Teamwork wins. Baaren does the running and jumping. Shicka thinks.
